Solo Leveling is a web novel written by the South Korean author Chugong.

It took off in popularity when it was serialized on the digital comic and fiction platform Kakao Page,

in 2016 and later published by D&C Media.

Since then, it was turned into a webtoon illustrated by Jang Sung-Rak (Dubu)

and is currently up to its third published volume.
